Prayer Updates - August 2026
08/01/2026
Dear Prayer Partners,
First of all, thank you so much for continuing to pray, encourage, and support me through this church planting journey. Your prayers truly mean more than words can express. I firmly believe that prayer is not just a ministry of the church, it is the engine that drives everything we do. Thank you for faithfully standing with me as God continues to build Breakthrough Church.
This past month has been filled with some exciting answers to prayer, and I am so thankful for how God continues to faithfully provide.
One of the biggest milestones this month is that Breakthrough Church now has an official ministry bank account! This may seem like a small detail, but it is actually a huge step forward. We are now able to officially receive donations, manage ministry finances, and operate as the incorporated ministry God has called us to build. It is another reminder that Breakthrough Church is becoming more of a reality every day.
Another exciting milestone which some of you have already seen, was completing our mission and fundraising video. I cannot wait to begin sharing it with individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations as I cast the vision God has placed on my heart for Eau Claire.
I have also been encouraged by the number of people who have reached out wanting to learn more about Breakthrough Church and asking how they can become involved with the Launch Team. It has been exciting to watch God begin gathering people around this vision, and I truly believe He is just getting started.
One of the greatest surprises this last month has been building a relationship with Hope Gospel Mission here in Eau Claire. They graciously invited me to tour their facility and join their staff prayer gathering. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to begin partnering with an organization that has faithfully served the community for many years. It is amazing to see God opening doors for ministry relationships before Breakthrough Church has even launched.
As we move into this next season, our prayers are beginning to shift from simply preparing to praying boldly for God's provision. We are asking God to raise up the financial partners and Launch Team members who will help lay a strong foundation for Breakthrough Church. Healthy churches are built long before the first Sunday service, and I truly believe God is already preparing the people He is calling to be part of this work. I would love for you to join me in praying specifically for these needs.
Please continue praying for these ministry needs:
That God would provide fundraising partners from individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations.
That my upcoming Breakthrough Weekend August 15th/16th at Red Cedar Church would bear much fruit as I share the vision for Breakthrough Church.
That God would continue adding the right Launch Team members, especially through Red Cedar Church.
That many people would feel led to invest financially in the mission of Breakthrough Church through one-time or monthly giving.
That more intercessors would join our prayer team and help keep prayer at the center of everything we do.
On a personal note, I would also appreciate prayer for:
God's provision for dependable transportation, a true miracle vehicle.
Wisdom, favor, and open doors as I continue searching for housing in Eau Claire. I have reached out to several apartments and housing opportunities but have not yet heard back from any of them. Please pray that God would open the right door at just the right time.
In God's perfect timing, He would bring the right woman alongside me to share both life and ministry.
Opportunities to intentionally mentor and disciple a young man throughout this church planting journey.
Thank you again for every prayer, every encouraging message, and every act of support. I truly could not do this without faithful friends like you. It is incredible to watch God continue opening doors one step at a time, and I cannot wait to see what He has in store over the coming months. Thank you for believing in this vision and for partnering with me in prayer. Your faithfulness is making an eternal difference.
With gratitude,
Pastor Tanton Schnider
